For over twenty-nine plus years, locally owned and managed Expert Auto Home Health Insurance Agency has provided comprehensive insurance products for clients in the Torrance and Los Angeles area of California. The agency was established in 1991 as an insurance agency focused on covering our neighbors’ car insurance and Home insurance. Over the years, the agency has flourished. The story of Expert Auto Home Health Insurance began with the passing of Proposition 103 in 1988. The proposition had made promises to force the casualty insurance companies to decrease rates for auto insurance products in California. However, its subsequent effect was to send most of the standard insurance companies running for the state border. By 1991, a large percentage of Southern California drivers were thus left uninsured. This gap in California Insurance coverage inspired us to establish Expert Auto Home Health Insurance Agency with a primary focus of helping uninsured families to acquire auto insurance and Home Insurance at affordable prices. At the time due to Proposition 103, many insurance companies were not writing new business. This opened up venues for our agency because their selected companies chose to stay in California and do business here. With these carriers, our employees were able to serve the local insurance buyers and have grown as a result. Business was fairly stable until June of 1994 when the Northridge Earthquake managed to turn the insurance industry on its head. Many of the insurers providing earthquake coverage found themselves either without enough reinsurance or received news from their reinsurers that rates were increasing drastically. The earthquake had taken a toll on these carriers surplus funds and began to put them out of business. Expert Auto Home Health Insurance Agency, however, being an independent agent with a selection of quality carriers to offer homeowner’s insurance, had another heyday and an unusual amount of growth for the many years following this earthquake. While Expert Auto Home Health Insurance Agency opened doors to new customers, other larger carriers like State Farm, Allstate or Farmers rejected new business.
In Expert Auto Home Health Insurance Agency we realized some clients do not understand the challenges of commercial insurance while they are in desperate need of business insurance, Commercial auto Insurance, Contractors Insurance or General Liability insurance policies. This led us to secure quality commercial carriers and expand into the commercial line business in 1995.
Our Agency personal lines Property Casualty department offers Automobile Insurance or Car Insurance, homeowners Insurance, Condo Insurance, Renters Insurance, watercraft Insurance, motorcycle Insurance, umbrella Insurance.
Our Agency Health and Life Departement offers Individual life Insurance, health insurance or IFP products, Individual or Family Health Insurance, Individual or Family Dental Insurance, Medicare Health Insurance products, Supplemental or Gap insurance for 65 plus, Group Health and Dental insurance. On Exchange or off Exchange health insurance products.
The commercial department offers Business Insurance, Commercial property, Apartment Insurance, Landlord Protection insurance, Commercial Auto Insurance, Trucking Insurance, Workers Compensation Insurance, General liability Insurance and Commercial umbrella Insurance.
